  Northern Brewer's staff is very knowledgable. They have helped me transition from extract brewing to all-grain brewing, answering all my questions related to necessary equipment and the brewing process in an honest manner; they will not try to up-sell you. Additionally, their customer service is top notch. As an example, I recently returned a defective Grainfather I had purchased from NB. Adam, a retail manager at NB, assured me that he would contact the manufacturer and obtain a replacement unit. That same afternoon he called back to inform me that I could pick up the replacement unit at my convenience.
